In this hand-out I would like to look at how we can work with emotional distress through increase of our feeling vocabulary and identification of our felt experiences with emotion wheel. This method is not created by me but is borrowed from "Nurture. A modern guide to pregnancy, birth, early motherhood " book by Erica Cohen. I do, however, offer illustrative example relevant to stress we all feel right now in relation to global pandemic outbreak and associated feelings as well as my own insights on emotional wellbeing. 

I am a qualified counsellor and a firm believer in our innate resourcefulness to become more resilient and accepting of ourselves thus I hope this self-help guide might inspire you to trust in your ability to take control of your life.
